Green Juice

image One of the best ways to start your day is with an immune boosting green smoothie. With so many food blenders to chose from nowadays, making one has never been easier. Plus it has a whole bunch of benefits for your skin, hair and overall health. So lets get started. You will need: – the juice of 1 lemon – the juice of 1 large orange – half of an avocado – 1 banana – a handful of spinach – some kale – chia seeds – ice cubes – water Juice the orange and lemon and pour into blender. Add the spinach, kale and banana. Cut an avocado in half and place half into the blender. Add ice and water and chia seeds. Blend until desired consistency. Pour into a glass and enjoy!!!

A new Starbucks recently opened up near me, which I thought was a REALLY awesome idea at the time.. now not so much. I’m not much of a coffee lover, so I didn’t think i’d be going in so much,  but I have been obsessed with the Vanilla Bean Creme, Double Chocolate Chip and Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino. Oh My Freakin Goodnesss they are so good… and don’t even get me started on their teas… I honestly don’t even know how I lived a life without them! 

Plus, they introduced a new drink…….. The Coconut Mocha!!! Coconut!!! Coconut!!! I LOVE Coconut!!! It is literally summer in a drink.. so delicious. Oh and those coconut shavings on the creamy goodness that they call whipped cream is heavenly.

I’ve also been sooo obsessed with Essie’s Mod Squad and white Converse. But  I think every girl is when summer rolls around. Paired with a pair of comfy fitting jeans and a basic tee, the perfect summers outfit is sorted!

Everybody needs water and so therefore everyone drinks it. But, we can forget or lets face it, simply just prefer the taste of a Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino….

They are so good though….

But what if you added some fruity flavour and gorgeous colour to your water? You’d so drink more water!!! Just like this Fiji water, which looks so cute and pretty it makes you wanna drink more water… It’s all just in our heads…

Summer Drinks

It’s super easy. All you need is:

some bottled water or tap water if you like

some fresh fruit of your choice ( I chose strawberries, blueberries, oranges, limes, lemons and cucumber)

mason jars

ice cubes

and straws

 

Simply cut up your fruit into small chunks, so that you don’t have a huge mouthful when you take a sip of water. Pour some water into a mason jar and then add some ice cubes. Pop in any fruit combination that you like into each mason jar. For even more flavour, squeeze the juice of half a lemon or lime and add this to your water.

Voila! Super easy, cute, healthy and yummy drinks.

Another simple and easy drink that only requires two ingredients: berries and water.

Just pour some water into ice cube moulds and place some berries into the water, but don’t fill it up to the top, as the water will rise as it freezes. Leave to freeze for a couple of hours or overnight, then take out and place into any drink. A fun and simple way to add something nice and extra into your drink.

You could of course do the same with some crushed ice and just pop the berries into your drink the way they are or cut them up into smaller pieces.

You could also add a different form of liquid, such as juice or carbonated water. The choice is endless.

Summer Snack

Time to create some delicious summer time fruit snacks!

This can be eaten for breakfast, throughout the day as a snack, or even as a desert.

It is so easy to do. All you need is:

Yogurt  Yogurt (any yogurt that you want to use)

raspberry some berries ( I used raspberries, but you could use any that you want.)

granola  and some granola

Now all you have to do is layer it up, yogurt then granola then more yogurt and top it all off with some berries and voila! So easy and so delicious.
