Hello everyone,
I’m not the biggest fan of dry shampoos, just because I’d rather wash my hair and actually have it feel fresh. Maybe it’s because I just haven’t found a really good dry shampoo. Until now that is…
I was in Boots the other day and had a look at the dry shampoo section. Just as I was about topick up the Batiste on (I’ve used it before, but wasn’t too impressed) I saw this one. What caught my eye was the design and I know you should’nt judge a book by its cover, but Iwas glad I did in that moment.
First of all, it has NO parabens and NO colourants. In total, it has 15 ingerdients, all of which are quite natural. The Batiste one and Tresemme dry shampoo had waaaay more than that. The ingredient list was literally so small and long, I felt like I need magnifying glasses to read them.
So I bought the Herbal Essences once and tried it out once I got home.
First of all, there’s no white residue. Now I have naturally brown hair and there was no white! And it does come out white. Once you spray it into your hair, it almost feels wet, but also really cold. What I would imagine dry ice to feel like, if you were able to touch that stuff without burning your hands off. It is literally the weirdest andcoolest feeling ever.
But let’s get to the actual doing part. It provides so much volume and just takes the grease away. Like a little fairy that just magically appears and swipes it away.
The only thing i noticed is, that my hair begins to almost feel like I backcombed it throughout the day. It still looks great and natural but begins to feel a bit strange.
But it’s just so cheap, about €2.40 or so and definitely worth picking up the next time you’re in Boots.
Enjoy and Good Luck xx
