I’m not the biggest fan of dry shampoos, just because I’d rather wash my hair and actually have it feel fresh. Maybe it’s because I just haven’t found a really good dry shampoo. Until now that is…
I was in Boots the other day and had a look at the dry shampoo section. Just as I was about topick up the Batiste on (I’ve used it before, but wasn’t too impressed) I saw this one. What caught my eye was the design and I know you should’nt judge a book by its cover, but Iwas glad I did in that moment.
First of all, it has NO parabens and NO colourants. In total, it has 15 ingerdients, all of which are quite natural. The Batiste one and Tresemme dry shampoo had waaaay more than that. The ingredient list was literally so small and long, I felt like I need magnifying glasses to read them.
So I bought the Herbal Essences once and tried it out once I got home.
First of all, there’s no white residue. Now I have naturally brown hair and there was no white! And it does come out white. Once you spray it into your hair, it almost feels wet, but also really cold. What I would imagine dry ice to feel like, if you were able to touch that stuff without burning your hands off. It is literally the weirdest andcoolest feeling ever.
But let’s get to the actual doing part. It provides so much volume and just takes the grease away. Like a little fairy that just magically appears and swipes it away.
The only thing i noticed is, that my hair begins to almost feel like I backcombed it throughout the day. It still looks great and natural but begins to feel a bit strange.
But it’s just so cheap, about €2.40 or so and definitely worth picking up the next time you’re in Boots.
Enjoy and Good Luck xx
“Paris is always a good idea.” – Audrey Hepburn
Stripes are super simple, yet super elegant and chic looking. Paired with a polka dot print headband, a black statement necklace, skater skirt and black high tops, we have the perfect comfy chic outfit. I adore converse and think everyone should have a pair in their wardrobe.. They just go with everything and do a fine job of making any look more casual and daytime appropriate.
So Kimye recently got married in France and now they are on their honeymoon in Ireland. So what outfit is more French meets Irish than stripes and converse? This one!! Well, ok maybe this isn’t the first one that would pop into your mind but… I thought this was cute. Plus, it kinda makes me feel like I’m in Paris, walking down a Boulevard holding a croissant in one hand and using the others to push down my sunglasses so I can admire all the cute boys.. *ahem*
Anyhoo, this outfit is just super simple but makes you feel completely put together and ready to face the day with a bright smile and positive attitude!
Now that November is over, Christmas is just around the corner!!! I am so excited and can not wait for the first snowflakes to fall. I hope you all have a lovely month ahead.
Good luck. xxxx
DIY COLOURFUL SNEAKERS
Right now Penneys (or Primark ) have these white sneakers for about 3 euro and they also have them in various colours. I’ve had my ones for a while, so they ended getting quite dirty. I saw tribal print ones in Topshop a while back, but they didn’t have them in my size. i was a bit upset as I really liked them. I was extremely excited when I saw this on Instagram the other day and just had to share it. It’s so easy to do and I immediately tried it out at home. You can draw on any print that you like. I did mine like the one in the picture above.
All you need is a pair of sneakers, preferably white and some fabric markers. You could use normal sharpie markers, but you will run the risk of having the colours bleed and fade. You could also use fabric paint for the design, but the consistency of that would be a lot thicker and take much longer to dry. But it is completely up to you. You can design them however you wish to create your own unique and funky sneakers.
For the print above, it’s easiest to cut your desired design onto paper(such as zig-zags) and then just trace it. repeat with a different colour and keep this going. ( Look at the picture below )
It also makes it easier if you take the shoelaces out before attempting your design, to ensure none of the colour goes on them. Unless you want them to be colourful.. 🙂 It’s all up to you…. So get creative and design your own shoes!!!!
Here are some other design ideas.
These shoes are not white, so not all colours will be opaque on it. With brown shoes, black is the best colour to go with, as it will be seen quite clearly. Here, the laces have also been cutified with a tribal design.
Enjoy and Good luck. xoxo
